Senior year tacks on sooooo many responsibilities. First there is the stress of school itself. I gotta keep those grades up, keep them up, keep em up! This year as a senior I was awarded with a half-day so I only have to take four classes. I’m in American Government/Economics, AP English Literature, Pre-Calc, and Psychology.
The year would have been easy if I hadn’t taken the hard classes; precalc and AP English, I would be able to write everyday and post hopefully every week, but I struggle with math. Functions aren’t my thing and in English my teacher has us reading so much. Frankenstein, Death of a Salesman, Hamlet, Invisible Man, Ceremony, Persuasion, and Jane Eyre. It’s crazy how much we’ve had to read and the essays OMG. Don’t get me wrong i love good literature, but balancing that with my own stuff is challenging. School is difficult, but of course no matter what courses you’re taking school is bound to be a trial…
On top of maintaining grades, there is the aspect of colleges and scholarships. I’ve applied to three colleges so far and have been accepted into one. After posting the last chapter of Make It Nasty I was taxed with the writing of a personal essay that almost took a month to perfect… Or get near to perfect. Now I’m waiting to hear back from those colleges but I find out you’re supposed to send your transcripts at the same time? Ugh, so there is still more to do. On top of that the Internet at my house has been unreliable and because I have an iPhone transferring files is impossible, so MIN Chapter 12 sits in waiting on my computer, I haven’t worked on it much due to the Internet problem but I still tap away at that every couple of days. It’s been so long that I may need to reread MIN before updating so I can get back into Logan and Emery because the reason I held the update off at first was because I wasn’t feeling Logan at all.
Also, the month of November is National Writing Month, and I decided that I wanted to participate. I know you’re like, if you cant even stay true to one story why are you tacking on another?!? The reason is because I daydream about romantic and cute situations A LOT, and some of the situations don’t fit into MIN, but tell a completely different story of their own, usually I’m just imaging myself in the situations, but since daydreams don’t come to fruition I have to put those awesome ideas somewhere and now… I’ve come up with this other story that I think is fucking amazing… Excuse that profanity, but the idea is so… AHH, but while tapping away on it I’ve run into many conflicts, such as point of views, connections to stories that I’ve written in the past, and new ideas, to such an extent that I realize it’s going to take more than the month of November to develop properly, but I’m excited for it!!!
At the same time, I’m head over heels for Make It Nasty, where in these last two months I’ve been able to extend the plot, by adding new and a tad bit more real points to the story that I’m eager to show you all.
Thank you so much for sticking with me and Make It Nasty in these long two months I hope that I’ll be able to update ASAP, but that depends on the Internet connection and how savvy I’m going to get with an SD card and my moms android… See, I knew there was a certain drawback to having the ‘oh so amazing’ iPhone. :p
